Happy 4th Birthday, Hallie!

Our sweet Hallie turned 4 in September!  She got to celebrate several times with so many people who love her.

The day before her birthday, she got a pancake in the shape of a #3 to celebrate her last day as a 3-year old!

And when she woke up on her birthday, she got a cupcake for breakfast! How's that for starting the day right?

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit on her birthday and we spent a couple of hours at Bergey's Breadbasket and Farm.

It looks like she was bonding with this goat, but it was actually chewing her hair and freaking her out. Ha!

She loved having a pony ride

But I think her favorite part of the day was getting to cuddle with the farm kittens

This was called a babydoll sheep. It was adorable!

After dinner that night, she got to open gifts. She loved her fancy dress up accessories from Uncle Rob, Aunt Robin, Naomi, and Miriam.

And she got an awesome build-your-own flower garden toy from Uncle Steve, Aunt Sheila, Meera, and Rowan.

Nothing Bundt Cake and sisterly love for dessert!

She had another birthday celebration at school, where she shared treats with her classmates.

And a final birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa's house with most of the Jester family and my parents.

Make a wish!

Some fun facts about Hallie at age 4:

One of her favorite things in the world is swinging. If we have any free time, her first suggestion is to go to a playground. If we go to a playground, she spends the entire time on a swing.

She loves playing with her cousins! She and Micah are big buddies when our families get together.

Hallie and her cousin in Montana, Miriam, had the best time playing together this summer, too!

She makes us laugh every single day.

So silly!

She loves to play like the older kids, and it's fun watching her figure things out.

No matter how much she grows, this beautiful girl will always be our baby!  We love you with all our hearts, Hallie!  We pray that God will keep you in his hand and that you'll glorify him with your life.
